Had a birthday celebration at momotalo and was craving dessert. We were about to drive somewhere else but started to pour like crazy so we decided to go upstairs and oh boy i’d be so disappointed if we had left!! Cakes were delicious. We had the peach & lychee cream cake, pandan brûlée, omg cookie and an orange sugee cake. Honestly, what a surprise!! Service was great too, i think we were served by the owner? If he wasn’t the owner then the owner should give him a raise!! 😂 Must-try. 🙂

The last week has been a little bit stressful. Other than managing Salon Du Pain we also had to get our designs approved and begin work on our flooring, ceiling and walls quickly so we don’t get delayed. We are looking good and seem to be on track to open before Dec 15.

We started our Kuke IG account during Covid and always thought that it would be a challenge to reach 1000 followers. When that happened we were overjoyed.
For someone who predominantly uses social media for work, I knew it would be a challenge to grow organically. Yes, we could have gone and bought followers but just like how we like to make our own jams and pastes, we also wanted to stay authentic and grow our followers the right way. I still create our own posts with many of the videos and images done by me. My musings have also been written without the aid of ChatGPT which could be why some of u have highlighted some of my spelling mistakes (actually I was just checking to see if you’re reading my posts or not… 😅)
Now we have 49 more followers before we reach 5 figures. That just blows my mind…. Thanks so much for deciding to follow us. We may not be as creative, funny or classy as other accounts but we do try. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see just ask in the comments below.
